For the first time, a nationally-known famous person has received a signed copy of my book!

On Wednesday, April 20th, Carly Fiorina (a former 2016 Republican presidential candidate) spoke at annual spring dinner of the Berks County Republican Committee in Reading, Pennsylvania. As a thank-you give for speaking, a college friend of mine, John Archer, gave Ms. Fiorina a signed copy of my book.

John took the time to explain to her the event behind the book’s unusual title and briefly outlined the book’s contents. Hopefully on the long plane ride back home to California she will actually read it.

Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich would probably also find the book interesting and learn something from it, but I think they are too busy. Besides, I have no old college friends who know those candidates.

No, I’m not selling pizzas – this is what a goodreads book lottery giveaway looks like! I’m on my way to the post office to deliver books to 15 lucky winners. The winners will post reviews on my goodreads author page which will increase exposure to my book.

Gerhard gave an Author Talk at Village Chapel Church in Ashville, Ohio, on April 14th, where he presented a “Cliff Notes” version of his book to the monthly gathering. The presentation was well attended and was followed by a book signing.

His friend, Mark Dawson, who is a professional photographer took pictures during the presentation and book signing.

At the end Gerhard discussed the foundations of America’s greatness and how we forget our foundations at our peril. The students were attentive and several stopped afterward to ask questions and thank Gerhard.
